NAO YOSHIHARA EXHIBITION “HANAYADORI”

「この作家がArts Laneでみれたらうれしい」— お客様から嬉しい言葉をかけてもらったのが２０２４年１１月。いただいた言葉を実現するため、半月の準備期間を経て開幕した吉原奈桜個展「花宿り-Hanayadori-」

ギャラリーの目の前の神様をイメージした５０号の龍神さまが、ギャラリーと来場者を見守った。

キャンバスは触って眠りにつきたいほど安心するスムーズな触り心地（作品を触れるのはまさに所有者のみの贅沢）と、作家の色がそのまま反映されたようなポップな色がまさにこの町に形のない力を宿らせてくれたと感じている。

なによりも、作品が完売したこと。この町はアートが完売する町なんだと。感謝と力を込めて未来に繋げていく気持ちが乗っかていく。

“It would be wonderful to see this artist at Arts Lane.” — These kind words were spoken by our dear client in November 2024. In response, and after just two weeks of preparation, we opened Nao Yoshihara’s solo exhibition Hanayadori.

A large-size (No. 50) painting of a dragon deity, inspired by the local guardian deity just in front of the gallery, watched over both the space and its visitors.

The canvas has a silky smooth texture that feels so comforting, you’d want to fall asleep touching it (a luxury reserved only for the collectors who own the works). The vibrant, pop colors — as if the artist’s palette itself had taken form — seemed to infuse this seaside town with an invisible but powerful energy.

And above all, every piece in the show sold out. This town is a place where art can truly sell out — and that fact alone gives us gratitude, strength, and the desire to carry this momentum into the future.
